Outdoor & Recreation Spaces
Anderson University enjoys many outdoor spaces for gatherings, athletic events, and recreation. Though most of these spaces do not have tables and chairs, there would be an option to have these set up when needed. A few of those locations are listed below, but please reach out to Guest Services to discuss the best space to meet your needs.
Rainy Gardens Event Space
Rainey Gardens is a perfect location for intimate gatherings with an emphasis on socializing.
- Rainey House
- 150 capacity
Pavillion
A recently rennovated space that has been beloved on campus for years. A covered stage area that provides plenty of space for social focused gatherings. There is also the ability to add tables and chairs. Please reach out to Guest Services to learn more.
- Athletic Campus
- 100 standing or 10 6ft round tables with 80 chairs
- Several electrical outlets for easy AV set up
Intramural Field
This field is 360 feet long (120 yards) by 225 feet wide (75 yards) and has lights for nighttime use. This field also has soccer goals and several electrical outlets.

Pool
This beautiful walk-in pool goes to 4ft with a surrounding patio featuring lounge chairs and a gas grill. There is also a near by outdoor fireplace, concession stand, and restroom.

Intramural Gym
This is a multifunctional space with two full basketball courts that can also be used for volleyball and pickelball. There are several outlets making it easy to set up a sound system.

- 400 capacity with 60 sitting on bleachers
Disc Golf
A fan favorite, Anderson University’s disc golf course offers nine baskets.

Sand Volleyball
These two sand volleyball courts side-by-side makes for great competitions! Plus, light posts offer plenty of bright light for nighttime play.
