Anne McKinney
Anne serves as Director for the Office of Residence Life. Anne was born and raised in North Carolina and has worked in higher education for nearly 10 years. She holds her BA in Theater and Sociology from Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, GA and her MA in Higher Education from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA. Anne is passionate about residence life playing an integral part in the educational mission of Anderson University and believes in the life changing work that happens in our residential communities. Getting to know students and hearing their stories is her favorite part of getting to work in higher education! She loves the vibrant community at AU and is pretty sure we have the best students ever. In her free time, she loves to spend time outdoors, pick up a new DIY project, or explore a new coffee shop. Anne is married to Kevin and they live nearby campus with their dog, Piper.

Austin Barrett
Austin serves as the Assistant Director of Residence Life and Housing Operations Manager. Austin was born and raised in Greenwood, South Carolina and has worked in housing at Anderson University for nearly five years. He transitioned to the Residence Life team shortly after graduating from Anderson University in 2018. Before transitioning to the Assistant Director role, Austin served 3 years as the Residence Director for the Village and Kingsley living area. Austin enjoys the complicated logistics and unique challenges that working in housing provides. Austin believes that his work paves the way for meaningful relationships to develop in the residence halls, of which he is very passionate about. Austin is married to an AU alum, Lauren, and they are expecting their first child in early Spring 2023. Austin and Lauren both love to kayak, hike, and camp!

Teagan Dunning
A Hoosier at heart, Teagan was born and raised in Central Indiana. She moved to Chicago for school and received her BA in Christian Ministries from Concordia University Chicago. While at Concordia, Teagan discovered a passion for college students through three years of being involved in Campus Ministries and Residence Life. These two passions combined lead to pursuing a Masters in Higher Education and Student Development with an emphasis in Christian Formation and Ministry at Wheaton College. While at Wheaton, Teagan worked in Residence Life as well as in the Office of Intercultural Arts and Media. Teagan is passionate about fun, strangers becoming friends, and trying new things, which lends itself perfectly to living and working in Stringer and Whitaker. In her free time, Teagan enjoys sharing meals and coffee with friends, making playlists on Spotify, playing sports, and being outdoors!

Cassie Webber
Cassie Webber is an Interpersonal and Organizational Communication Professional with extensive experience in nonverbal communication, persuasion and attitude change, conflict management, team leadership, organizational leadership, and more. Cassie earned her Master’s Degree from Liberty University in Communication, her Bachelor’s Degree from Azusa Pacific University in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication, as well as her two Associate Degrees in Social and Behavioral Sciences and Communication from Cuesta College. Cassie was born and raised in California, where she served as an Affiliate Professor for Portland Bible College as well as the Assistant Director for TFH Leadership College. Cassie currently serves at AU as the Residence Director for the Boulevard Residence Halls, as well as an Adjunct Professor for AU. Cassie is passionate about building and equipping Kingdom-minded leaders to step into the fullness of what God has for them and absolutely loves being a part of the community at AU! Cassie strives to foster a community for her residents that is truly dedicated to loving people well and building lasting friendships at Anderson University. In her free time, Cassie enjoys being outdoors, hiking, going to the lake, cooking, reading, taking day trips, and spending time with friends.

Jose Brown
Jose was born and raised in beautiful Austin, Texas. He attended college at Azusa Pacific University in Southern California where he received his BS in Business Marketing and a Master of Divinity. His goal working in Christian Higher Education is to help cultivate healthy, fun, and diverse communities where anyone and everyone can grow to become the person God has created them to be. One of his favorite things about getting to be the Residence Director of Village and Kingsley Halls is that he gets to walk alongside students at all stages of their college experience, as Village and Kingsley Halls house students of all academic years. Outside of work you can find Jose at a concert, watching anime, doing anything competitive, or relaxing at home with friends.

Molly Claeys
Molly was born in Indiana where she spent the first ten years of her life until her family moved overseas to work as missionaries in the U.S. Virgin Islands. She transitioned back to Indiana where she received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Bethel University. Upon graduation, Molly worked as the Remote Patient Monitoring Director at a medical clinic in the Virgin Islands. She served in residence life throughout college where the Lord placed within her a love for students. To pursue her desire for students, Molly moved to Anderson to serve as the Residence Director of Pratt and Denmark Halls. Molly is passionate about creating an atmosphere of belonging within the residence halls that resembles the Lord’s posture of welcome. She finds great joy in being outdoors, drinking hot coffee, and sitting in the company of others.

Kelsey Saunders
Kelsey is originally from the lakeside beach town of Grand Haven, Michigan and lived there until attending Grace College and Seminary in northern Indiana. She graduated in 2019 with a B.S in Counseling and an M.A. in Ministry Leadership. From there, she moved to Upstate SC to work for 2 years as an Assistant Resident Director at a neighboring university until transitioning to Anderson in July of 2021 to be the Residence Director for the Townhomes. She loves the way that Residence Life makes conversations about Jesus accessible to everyone in simple, practical ways. Apart from work, Kelsey is a passionate long distance runner and loves baking as well as finding new sushi and Vietnamese food restaurants. Kelsey will marry Steven in December of 2022 and they can’t wait to do Residence Life work as a family!

Jonathan Scott
Originally from Charlotte, NC, Jonathan is an Anderson University Alum who graduated in 2017 with his B.A. in Christian Theology and in 2018 with his Masters in Divinity. He has a love for Residence Life that stems from his time as an RA, while a student at AU. Jonathan has a passion for helping College Students as they navigate the complexities of their new life as Students. He believes that the Residence Halls are a unique and wonderful setting for proclaiming the good news of Christ. In his spare time, Jonathan loves the sport of Soccer. He takes any and every opportunity to watch the beautiful game. Jonathan lives with his dog, “Maple” who seemingly has endless joy and energy.

Luke Springer
Luke is the RD of Lawton and Rouse, also known as LaRo by the campus community. He graduated from Emmaus Bible College with a Bachelors in Biblical Studies and later from Wheaton College with a Masters in Higher Education and Student Development in 2021. Luke is originally from Berryton, Kansas and is one of five children. He enjoys being active outdoors with friends. Luke also enjoys trying new coffee shops and making coffee at his apartment. Luke loves the unique structural setting of LaRo with its courtyard (used for games, grilling, and worship nights), Lawton’s suite style, and the more traditional housing style in Rouse make for a wonderful area that creates a fun environment for students to live in community.
