New Student Move-in

AU is excited to welcome new students for the fall semester! Move in Day for new residential students will take place on the Friday before classes start in August. You will receive a specific move-in time from the Residence Life Office after your housing assignment is finalized.

• We encourage you to only bring essentials. If needed, you can always bring additional items when you go home for a break.  If you haven’t already, start a packing list or use our recommended packing list.
• Parents, please make plans to attend the Matriculation Service on the evening of August 12.  More details about this service will be coming soon.

You may not be moving to campus, but you’re crucial to life here at AU, and we have lots of opportunities for you to get plugged into the community. Welcome Week is a big part of this process, and the week’s events are essential to your success at AU.

• There will be a specific check-in for commuter students on move in day. Commuter students are asked to keep an eye on your AU email account for more information.
