School of Public Service and Administration

The School of Public Service and Administration will use A Day gifts to provide much-needed grants for students in the graduate programs, Masters of Criminal Justice and Masters of Public Service and Administration, to attend or participate in research symposiums and the Academy of Criminal Justice Seminars. Many of these graduate students are working full-time as public servants.

College of Health Professions

Because graduate scholarships are very limited, the College of Health Professions will use A Day gifts to provide financial assistance to graduate students in the Schools of Physical Therapy and Graduate Nursing programs who were students in our own undergraduate programs (nursing, kinesiology or other) for tuition, books, supplies.

Through your A Day gifts to the Anderson Fund you can Light the Journey by: 1) helping fund scholarships for students of promise and/or need, 2) providing support for student development programs, the library, faculty development, athletics, campus ministries, academic programs, or the fine arts, and a host of other programs and services, 3) helping maintain our existing campus and providing for new facilities and equipment and 4) providing for annual operational needs.

Campus Ministries

Campus Ministries will use A Day gifts to provide furnishings for the Chapel/Prayer Room in Brashier Glade: 50 chairs that would provide flexible seating arrangements according to the need, a clear podium, artwork appropriate to the space and a wooden box for students to leave prayer requests that staff and students would pray over.

School of Interior Design

The School of Interior Design will use A Day gifts for Steelcase AirTouch Tables and Amia Chairs, providing student instructional studio needs to accommodate increased enrollment. The School of Interior Design will also be upgrading instructional equipment technology by providing an Encore Lectern for the main studio to enhance presentation quality.
