Program Overview

The Mathematics: Actuarial concentration equips you to calculate risk so you can offer the right insurance products to the right people. You’ll gain a firm grasp of the way mathematics, accounting, and statistics influence decisions about risk. Your degree will set you up for success in taking the required exams to earn your Associate of Society of Actuaries (ASA) credential. The median annual pay for an actuary is $105,900, but your earning potential increases with each level of actuarial exams. Anderson University has a rolling admission process (students are notified when the are accepted whenever that is during the year) but students are encouraged to apply by the following dates: December 1st for the best scholarship consideration and no later than July 1st to begin in the fall semester.
